What's the best online RPG game for loot?

I find myself drawn to games that are all about the loot hunt. Where the gear is awesome and makes you look more and more badass. Where you can craft some, get some from drops, etc. I just haven't found a game that I've absolutely loved yet. Currently I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online and Path of Exile, which are both fun. But I'm also super new to PC gaming, so I was curious what else was out there? I absolutely loved Borderlands loot system, but the game itself was a little too FPS for me. Destiny was also a lot of fun but also a little FPS heavy for me. I've never been big one shooters or guns either, but those two almost brought me around.
