My interest in gaming dwindles, much to my dismay. Does anyone else ever feel like this?

I find it rare nowadays to find a video game that truly grips me. I've been a gamer my whole life, and many of my fondest memories I have are of old games, and the countless hours I sunk into them. The feeling of fascination and bewilderment, getting completely lost in a games world. Now, even with all the amazing games that have come out in recent time(Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3), I just... don't feel that sense of wonder that I did like when I was younger. From an objective standpoint, I recognize that there some truly wonderful titles coming out. I just can't get hooked on them like I used to, and that makes me very sad.I remember the feeling I'd get when I first played games like Runescape, Skyrim/Oblivion, Halo, World of Warcraft, Dark Souls, and how you could never recreate the feeling of the first time you played those games. Now, that's how I feel with gaming as a whole.I attribute part of this to becoming an adult and doing adult things( working, socializing, traveling), but I really wish I could sit down and play my games like I used to, and not feel like I have something better I should be doing.Does anyone else ever feel like this? via /r/gaming http://ift.tt/2tSOzAm
